Gravity drop technology

The operating principle is based on "Gravity Drop" technology: products are grouped in an orderly formation on a collation plate positioned above the open case. Retractable guides open simultaneously, allowing the entire group of products to drop gently by gravity into the case below, maintaining perfect formation.

Unlike complex pick & place or robotic systems, the DropR does not use gripping arms or clamps, drastically reducing moving parts, wear, and maintenance costs, while ensuring speeds above the average. The electrically driven lift allows for fast and precise adjustments via recipe, with significant energy savings compared to traditional pneumatic solutions, and a smooth, controlled "soft landing" on the outfeed conveyor even at high speeds.

The SIAT DropR is a stand-alone top-loading case packer designed for the fast and precise insertion of rigid and semi-rigid containers and bags into RSC cases or trays.
