Viking DM & PW

Viking DM and Viking PW from Siat are motorized pre-stretch film carriages for pallet wrapping machines. Ergonomic and smart in design, they allow safe reel loading and fast setup, reaching pre-stretch values from 100 up to over 400% for significant film savings.

The Viking DM is a two-motor carriage with a higher pre-stretch range (100-400%), where tension and pre-stretch are adjusted directly from the control panel without the need for gear kits. It is recommended for pallets composed of different product categories that need differentiated film thickness across different areas of the pallet.

The Viking PW is a motorized carriage with panel-adjustable tension, while pre-stretch is defined through gear kits ranging from 100 to 350% (200% as standard). It is recommended for applications that need a fixed pre-stretch.

Both carriages need no film threading: the film passes in front of the rollers with a spring roller system that guarantees perfect adhesion, eliminating slippage and reducing maintenance. Two roping configurations are available — full roping from the top (electrical) to secure the product with a narrow cord, or partial roping from the bottom (pneumatic) for extra stability while saving film.
